Hello, I ran across my copy of UP FROM THE HILLS yesterday and read it again. When I was a child living on 1st South in Heber City, I would walk with Cory to the Grill Cafe to eat lunch. We would cross Main Street where there wasn't much traffic in those days and walk down the East side of Main. You could smell the wonderful aroma from a block away and we were greeted by Glenn Jensen and his sister Verda Ashley and seated. Then a silver bracelet with a spoon on it was fitted over Cory's wrist so he could eat. We mostly ate soups but sometimes mashed potatoes and gravy. When my family moved to 4th South and Main my walks with Cory ended. I have a small home based floral business in Daniel just South of Heber City and several years ago I received a call to fix flowers for Eunice Hanks Cullimore who was Cory's sister. I pass Cory's house each time I visit my good friends who live directly across from that house on 1st South. Still after over 50 years I feel a kinship to Cory and hope our paths cross again some day. Christine Parrish Davis
